Interstate 75 and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard Interchange

Prince completed major improvements to Interstate 75 from Broadway Avenue to the Interstate 4 exit ramps, including widening and reconstruction, rigid pavement rehabilitation, bridge deck replacement, bridge widening, and new bridge construction. The project also included a new northbound collector-distributor roadway to improve traffic flow and connectivity through the corridor.

Construction of a new diverging diamond interchange was supported by reconstruction and resurfacing of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard from Queen Palm Drive to Williams Road. Williams Road was also widened and resurfaced to provide an additional receiving lane for traffic from eastbound Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. 

The project includes:

• 150,000 square feet of mechanically stabilized earth walls
• 3 box culvert extensions
• More than 20 large overhead sign structures
• Implementation of Florida Department of Transportation's Smart Work Zone pilot program
