Over more than 10 years with Prince, I’ve had the opportunity to take on different roles and learn many aspects of the business. Payroll wasn’t something I originally planned to pursue, but when an opportunity opened, I took on a new challenge. That opportunity grew into a rewarding career path that has allowed me to develop new skills, build confidence and grow both professionally and personally.

I enjoy working as a Project Controls Engineer, as I like being involved in every stage of a construction project, from planning and coordination to execution and completion. I find it rewarding to use data, problem-solving, and organization to help keep projects on schedule, within budget, and moving toward successful completion.

Starting in construction 33 years ago as a carpenter helper, I wasn’t sure where that first job would take me. In 2010, I joined Prince’s growing bridge division as a foreman, and as the company grew, so did my responsibilities, leading to my role as General Bridge Superintendent.

I’m proud of how far I’ve come and grateful for the trust Prince has placed in me along the way.  Now I get to share what I’ve learned and help develop the next generation of leaders.

I have learned so much about civil construction in the last seven years working in the Equipment Department. Every day is different and I get to work on a variety of tasks, which keeps me engaged and constantly pushes me to develop new solutions.
