Interstate 95 at Sample Road Improvements

In Broward County, Florida, this project improved the Interstate 95 at Sample Road interchange through roadway and bridge widening, drainage improvements, barrier wall construction, and new lighting and intelligent transportation system infrastructure along both directions of I-95 and four ramps.

Improvements also extended to Sample Road and NW 3rd Avenue, including roadway widening, drainage, traffic signals, signage, curb, gutter and pavement improvements. The completed project improved traffic operations and drainage while providing safer, more efficient access to I-95 from Sample Road.
