Econlockhatchee Trail

The Econlockhatchee Trail project in Orange County, Florida, is widening 1.027 miles of roadway to create a four-lane divided corridor from south of Lake Underhill Road to north of State Road 408. Improvements include the addition of new sidewalks, traffic signals, curb and gutter, signage, striping, screen walls to the Riverwoods subdivision, along with pedestrian detection and crossing devices at the Lake Underhill Road intersection.  

Additionally, the project includes a new two-span bridge carrying Econlockhatchee Trail over SR 408 and drainage improvements at the southwest corner of the Econlockhatchee Trail/Valencia College Lane intersection.

This project includes:

• 7,800 feet of new force main
• 9,000 feet of new water main
• 2,500 feet of double box culvert
