Florida Transportation Builders’ Association 2026 Best in Construction – Bridge Award

The State Road 25/U.S. Highway 27/Okeechobee Road Reconstruction project transformed a key transportation corridor in Hialeah Gardens, Florida, improving mobility and connectivity for motorists, pedestrians and cyclists. Prince reconstructed and widened approximately two miles of Okeechobee Road, including a new grade-separated interchange carrying Okeechobee Road over NW 116th Way/Hialeah Gardens Boulevard. The project included four new bridges and flyover connections, widening of bridges over the Miami Canal, and the reconstruction and realignment of Frontage Road.

The project also delivered significant infrastructure improvements throughout the corridor, including new access ramps, traffic signals, drainage, lighting and intelligent transportation system infrastructure, as well as new bicycle lanes and sidewalks.
