YEAR COMPLETED:  2017

For this 660-day, $56.2 million project, Prince constructed SR 429 (Wekiva Parkway) from US 441 to north of Ponkan Road in Orange County, Florida. Prince constructed 2.13 miles of new limited-access roadway from south of the connector road (between US 441 and Plymouth Sorrento Road) to just south of Ponkan Road. Work included constructing a northbound on-ramp and a southbound off-ramp at the connector road, as well as constructing bridges over the connector road, Southfork Drive, Yothers Road, Ponkan Road and other locations. The bridge over the connector road was constructed using a precast, post tensioned steel girder U-beam design. Drainage, lighting, signage, pavement markings, utilities, and an Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) were also part of the work.
