Tampa, FL, April 21, 2011- Prince was announced as the successful bidder on two Tampa Bay Area projects- New Tampa Boulevard Extension in Tampa and North Cattlemen Road in Sarasota.
On March 15, 2011, Prince won the City Of Tampa’s $12.5 million New Tampa Boulevard extension bridge project. During this 24 month project, Prince will construct a signature bridge that will serve as a link between two communities that are currently divided by I-75. The overall project is .93 miles in length and includes construction of roadway, retaining walls, a box culvert, and utilities. When complete, the 403 foot, curved steel girder bridge will serve as a landmark welcoming I-75 travelers to Tampa.
At southern end of the Tampa Bay Area, Prince won Sarasota County’s $14.5 million North Cattlemen Road project on April 6, 2011. During this 18 month project, Prince will construct a new roadway that will service Sarasota County’s future recreational facility, Nathan Benderson Park. This 3-mile project includes 690,000 cubic yards of earthmoving, 15,000 feet of drainage pipe installation, retaining wall construction, and water and wastewater service extensions.
