Tampa, FL, April 22, 2010- The Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners announced Prince as the successful bidder for the $22 million Boyette Road Phase III project. Prince will convert 2.26 miles of roadway from two to four lanes, beginning at McMullen Road and ending at Bell Shoals Road. During the 43 month project, Prince will build four signalized intersections, water and sewer services, and a new bridge.
Prince completed Phase II of Boyette Road for Hillsborough County in April of 2009. Crews will commence work on Phase III in July with clearing operations. The county must acquire environmental permits and the utility owners must complete their relocations before Prince can begin working in all areas of Phase III.
In the past two weeks, Prince has been the successful bidder on three projects: SR 408 in Orlando, Florida, I-75/SR 401 in Macon, Georgia, and Boyette Road in Riverview, Florida, adding $97 million of work to its backlog.
