Tampa, FL, November 19, 2010- Dragados USA and Prince executed a $85.4 million contract to construct Segments A and B of Dragados’s I-595 Express Corridor Improvement Project. During the three-year construction period, Prince will construct reversible express lanes, widen the existing interstate, and make improvements to SR 84, which will serve as a frontage road for I-595. Segments A and B make up 4.3 miles of the 10.5 mile I-595 corridor located in Broward County Florida.
Segments A and B start at I-595’s interchange with I-75 and continue east until I-595 reaches Nob Hill Road. These segments are part of a $1.2 billion Public Private Partnership between the Florida Department of Transportation and ACS Infrastructure Development to Design-Build-Finance-Operate-Maintain the improvements to the I-595 corridor for 35 years. This will be Prince’s first project working with Dragados USA.
