Lead Heavy Equipment Mechanic

The Lead Mechanic is responsible for the inspection, repair and maintenance of all equipment and vehicles to the assigned project. This person will communicate daily to the Equipment Superintendent on all job activities. This is a working lead position that will perform repairs and direct job maintenance personnel.


Experienced in the repair of all construction equipment such as but not limited to; loaders, graders, dozers, excavators and cranes

Good oral and written communication skills

Good organizational and record keeping skills

Computer skills should include Microsoft Word, Basic Microsoft Excel, and Basic Microsoft PowerPoint


5 years as an equipment mechanic

1+yrs in a lead position capacity

Desired Qualifications:

Bilingual (Spanish)

General knowledge of OSHA Workplace Safety programs including MSDS and PPE programs

Microsoft office suit knowledge and good computer skills
