Gordon, GA, June 1, 2010 – In the past month Prince’s crews have begun stabilizing roadway on the Georgia Department of Transportation’s Fall Line Freeway project. Prince has stabilized one mile of roadway on the 7.5-mile project. With four critical box culverts being completed recently, Prince is now focused on earth movement and drainage installation across the job and will begin bridge construction in early August.
Prince received its notice to proceed from the Department in September of 2009 on the $30 million, 33-month Fall Line Freeway project. Overcoming last winter’s record rainfalls, Prince’s efforts are building momentum from the improved site conditions seen this spring. Prince plans to continue to keep this project ahead of schedule by utilizing its growing local staff.
